Time Safe-lock is obnoxious [Mid-spoilers]

Drafted Shelter, guessed that November 7th was when I arrived, and I need to add my current day and substract one, double checked even a guide for it even. Still wasted a whole day in-game and hours outside the game, and didn´t open it. Dunno if I messed with the hours, not knowing if is AM or PM.

Would be it had so bad to include a clock in the shelter or avoid using hours at all? One thing is Rng, other thing is having to wait real-life time minutes to check if you are right or not.

I really want to like this game, and so far I am having fun, but this in-game time mechanic feel a kick on the nuts.

Wait, why is that? I thougth it was in-game time? Why my time settings matter? Do I need to input real date and time?

Hi presos, this is a known issue and the team are investigating. This will be addressed in an upcoming patch. For now some players are finding the workaround TopoR mentioned helpful.

AFAIK it is in-game, but it relies on the system time settings.

Apparently though, the game does not take 12h/24h time format into account. I wasted a bunch of time because I did not realize that after 11AM, it's 12PM, not 12AM (it makes no sense for people used to 24h format, actually, I am not sure why it makes sense for anybody!).

Hey developer having people sit around for an hour is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanic. Its skummy and you know it. What you trying to pump player hours numbers or concurrent players by having people afk? This is trash and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Remove it and just let people grab the stupid gem and envelope. Stuff like this is what tanks reviews and makes people avoid your company.

Dude it's just like 7 in game Minutes ,not a real hour and you are free to do other things mean while ,dont have to Cage yourself in the shelter . and you just have to do it once to get the Letter.

I still don’t love the time mechanics, but I disagree. This game was not made in any way to pump numbers. I can assure this game was made for people chasing one specific feeling.

Is not a game everyone will like, but is a game some people will love for many years.

I am working off an Xbox and there are more than one time zones that have US on them. Can you clarify what one I need to use?

Apparently the issue is not the timezones. I suppose game uses some date code to match the month you selected with the current (in game) month, so if you select e.g. "Dec" but your computer thinks the 12th month is named e.g. "Dezembro" (Dez) instead of "December" (Dec) the month won't match and the safe won't open.

This safe needs to be the one to stay open. I did it once and am not doing it again.

I just figured out that if you have finish the game, got to Room 46, You need to add +1 to the day, because of the day after you beat the game, doesn't seem to be added to the day count. So if you got to Room 46, its just 7 + your days
