RNG is killing me, question: is number of days limited?

There are things I've discovered that requires multiple rooms/items to be used, yet getting them all in the same run is hard.

I've also started glimpsing some yt videos and seen people discovering rooms I haven't even seen as a possibility in my 19 days so far.

Now I can endure, but is there a limit to how many days a game may last? Since that's sort of hinted at during the intro. I mean, at some point, the game runs out of Parlor and Billiard puzzles, right?

Also, any tips to get that freaking car key together with the garage? That combo is bugging me since day 2. (no spoilers about the contents though)

Also always running out of either keys or gems. Only found one room update disk so far, can you find more than one?

there is no time limit as far I'm aware, as for the car key maybe try the trading post? I find it offered there very often for random items

Got a lucky run later on but yeah, trading post would indeed have been an option too.
Man, this game keeps giving more stuff to do and investigate, it's crazy. Loving it!

There is a bunch of upgrade disks, many of the rare rooms or smaller meta-puzzles have access to them. As far as I know, every room with an upgrade has a disk. If you fail to use the disk before the day ends, it should respawn, although maybe not in the same spot.

As far as the keys/gems, several of the upgrade disk upgrades make them more common, every safe contains one respawning gem (so basically a meta upgrade for the room once you learn safe codes).
