Safe combinations

I've opened a few safes at this point, the ones I've opened being the Boudoir, Shelter, and Underpass but as I have seen several safes around and I cant think of anywhere to start with their solutions I was hoping to get some better info?
I know that the codes have to be dates but that doesn't tell me much, it also doesn't help matters that the Freezer memo tells you that "the codes aren't *in writing* in the mansion", which considering the Boudoir safes solution seems to be very misleading, am I supposed to take that literally as "if its in writing its not a solution but everything that's NOT WRITING counts"?

If that's not enough, what date does the picture make you think of?

and if that's not enough the code is 1225, i.e. 12/25, Christmas.

The solutions to some are really, really dumb or unexpected. The only one I actually liked was the office.
Study = Chessboard with a queen on D8 = Dec. 8 | Drawing room = Count small gaits = 0415 | Office = March of the Counts = Count the busts of the Count + March = 0303

I already opened that one, I'm more looking for general tips about how to solve the rest of them, like I have no idea what the scope is or really what the rules are... like are all the combinations gonna be in the same room as the safe? stuff like that
