Advanced billiard room game
So I know all the basic rules of the game and had no trouble with solving it until a few 'days' ago. When they introduce squared into it I could still figure it out, but now it just gets more ridiculous (it seems).
Are there hints in the game (like for the basic rules) so I can find out how to further solve these more advanced ones? Or is it just trial and error, or a skill issue? (I'm not a mathematician)

Tbh I enjoyed this puzzle for a long time, but around day 100, I just cared less and less about the rewards from it, and the difficulty goes higher and higher to the point where I just do not bother with that room at all.
I hate it too. Even when you know how to get through it, it's a slog and not fun.

So now I have the 1/3 lines.

I have 20, then right above it is a yellow 1/3 20. Am I supposed to subtract 1/3 of 20? Am I supposed to subtract 20 and then take that result and divide it by 1/3? Either way doesn't work.

I need an example...and not one guide on the 'net covers it.

What are you supposed to do if your answer is a negative number? I'm so lost when my answer is negative and just start brute forcing

you rethink things because none of the answers are negative

So now I have the 1/3 lines. When do I divide it by 3? Is it like the bullseye symbols? were I do the operation against the number and then divide by 3? I need an example...

treat the number as N/3. The math will math to pull it back to an integer

Thanks! Now I'm up to scientific calculator level.
I really think the developers need to rethink this room, I actually had to look up what some of the higher level symbols mean and when I did it was very much a "WTactualF!" moment, it starts to get so convoluted it's ridiculous. The reward doesn't justify the difficulty especially for a single room, and if you end up having to look at a walkthough then the developers have failed... can many people honestly say when you get to red dots and red Xs and squiggly lines it didn't become just the slightest bit ridiculous?
This room is no longer enjoyable and I consider it a red room now.
yikes. i just got the "square" one for the first time. it being light-blue - the color for addition - made it seem more complex than it is.
Does anyone know what a red diamond instead of the 2 dots is? I’ve also come across a grey section (instead of blue, yellow, pink, purple) and never figured it out

call me crazy but the bullseye isnt a square, but just represents the number 60. a bullseye in most dart games counts for 60 points. try it next time you run into the puzzle it works every time i swear

What? Bullseye is 50 in darts and that's not how these math problems work.
I believe you can find out about the later symbols in one of the later grade classrooms.

Which in order to get you’ll need to either draft Mirror Hall, or unlock the West Gate and add the Classroom as your outer room for the day. Then you can draft multiple classrooms where each subsequent one goes up a grade.
