Help with translating Erajan
I'm currently trying to translate the note found in the tomb after lighting candles that's written in Erajan. My best shot at transcribing and translating is below.

Transcription:
Oreldajiris,
Ulelddau, uleldnai, uleldmora.
Oruleigifteldhew oriss. Newdau uldareile.
Nevdau eldareilu. Ajelbid ulheed eldlor: Uloddiris.
Hewsinclairlu. Hewepsenlu... Forget uldein inn.
Uldjorjeari... Uldarei ovissfennvo. Uldeinjorovo.
Oreraja. Orissnevarei.
Lorja eldris,
Uldjora

My literal translation:
Toward my first [unknown],
I will my day, I will my night, I will my [unknown].
Toward I will me gift my house toward south. New day I will future lack of myself.
New day my future I won't. First I [unknown] I will head my word: I will [unknown] [unknown].
House Sinclair I won't. House Epsen I won't... forget I will [unknown] north.
I did name [unknown]... I did future toward south Fenn (grand?) away. I did [unknown] away.
Toward [unknown] last. Toward south new future.
Last word my [unknown],
Your [unknown]

A more natural English translation:
To my eldest [son/daughter?],
My day, my night, my [unknown].
To you I gift my house/lands to the south. Tomorrow I will die/kill myself.
Tomorrow I will be dead. But first I will ask that you heed my word: I/you will [unknown] daughter/son.
Don't forget House Sinclair. Don't forget House Epsen. Forget [unknown] north.
I named [unknown]... Your future is south in Fenn. Your [unknown] away.
Towards the end of an era. Towards a new future.
Farewell my [son/daughter].
Your [father/mother]

Any help with the [unknowns] or any mistranslations I might have done would be very helpful!

I think the tone of the message is not exactly right

For example
Uldarei oviss fennvo:
Uld-arei ov-iss fenn-vo

Uld??-future towards the south, away from fenn
(this takes into context clues that the writers is at the mansion, with eraja to the south)

You seem to have found a definition for uld and eld - where did you find those?
(also mora is earth/planet)

Ohhh, is mora from the mora jai puzzles? Do you remember/have the text from where you saw that?

For uld and eld, I’m working with the theory that the first two are the “I will/I won’t” from the school whiteboard, while “d” is a modifier. I’ve tentatively labeled it as a possessive for el/le (so my/your) but I’m not sure with ul - I think I’ve tentatively put it as a past marker, but I’m nit very confidant on that.

I’m putting together a guide for all of the translation stuff I come across, so I’ll credit you for mora! Thanks!

I had interpreted ul/lu as you or 'you are' and 'you aren't' although looking at my notes I can't actually see why that is, oops. 'd' being a modifier for past is SO interesting - it's used so often it must be a modifier of some kind.

Is 'mora' definitely earth/planet - I thought 'mora jai' was one of the countries/realms?

mora is world
The 4th grade classroom has 2 globe maps.
ETTSPHERE - 3rd Era - ORINDIA - with Nuance, Oridina Aries, Arch Aires, Eraja
ORRSPHERE - 3rd Era - MORAVEN (erajan for old world) - with Corarica, Mora Jai, Verra

Actually funnily enough literally right after I posted that comment I was looking at the map and put two and two together with the world 'moraven.' Thank you!

Assuming I am correct about 'ul/lu' that makes the second sentence,

"You are my day, you are my night, you are my world"

My translation so far:

Ov-eld-aj-iris - To my first [love?]
Ul-eld-dau, ul-eld-nai, ul-eld-mora. - You are my day, you are my night, you are my world.
Ov-ul-el-gift-eld-hew ov-iss. - To you I will gift my house to the south.
Nevdau uld-arei-le. - Tomorrow your future lacks me. (Tomorrow you will miss me?)
Nevdau eld-arei-lu. - Tomorrow my future lacks you.
Aj-el-bid ulheed eldlor: Ul-odd-iris. - First I bid you heed my word: You [?] [love?]
Hew-sinclair-lu. Hew-epsen-lu... Forget uld-ein inn. - House Sinclair lacks you. House Epsen lacks you. Forget your [?] North (Or, "you are not Sinclair, you are not Epsen?")
Uld-jor- jeari... - Your name [??]
Uld-arei ovissfennvo. - Your future is to the south away from Fenn.
Uld-ein-joro-vo. Your [?] [?] away.
Ov-era-ja. Ov-iss-nev-arei. = To [?] last. To the South a new future.
Lor-ja eld-iris. - Last word my [love]?
Uldjora - Your [?]

I have taken 'd' to be possessive, so el = me and eld - my/mine. Similiarly ul = you and uld = your/yours.

This is a letter from Clara to Mary, so I'm fairly certain Iris = child , maybe daughter .

Uloddiris = Ul odd iris = You are an odd child
I assume Ein = home .
Uld Jor Je Ari = Your name is Je Ari. There are two people in the royal family with this name. Je Ari Yenna has a bust in the Foyer and someone else is mentioned in a newspaper snippet. Maybe this is part of a greater plot.
I found a memo teaching me that Jora = Mother, so I assume Joro = Father.
Ov era ja = Maybe toward the last era, or literally toward Eraja.
Lorja = Goodbye, as Ajlor = Hello

Good luck with further exploring. :)

Small correction to ovissfennvo: Iss = north, not south.

Where did you find the memo about jora? reading the letter myself, jor means name so i assumed adding the a/o was similar to the “d being a modifier” in “eld” and “uld” etc.

I also think I confused myself, i grabbed a notebook paper and wrote down the note so I could have it for reference later, and I believe I read it wrong, writing the “Ov” at the start of some words as “Or”

The letter makes much more sense using “Ov” as towards and I got stumped for a minute lol

I think I've almost cracked it - thanks to the guidance from this thread and the classroom tips.

Words translated:
El
  • Translation: I / Me
  • Possessive: Eld (translates to "mine")
  • As a prefix: Elverb (translates to "I will verb)
  • As a suffix: verble (translates to "I won't verb)

Ul
  • Translation: You
  • Possessive: Uld (translates to "yours")
  • As a prefix: Ulverb (translates to "You will verb)
  • As a suffix: verblu (translates to "You won't verb)

Hew = house
Dau = day
Nai = night
Arei = Future
Iris = Child

My interpretation of the letter:
To my first child,
You are my day, you are my night, you are my world.
To you, I gift my house to the North. The start of your future without me.
The start of my future without you. First, I bid you to heed my word: You are [???] child.
Not House Sinclair. Not House Epsen. Forget your [???]
You are Je Ari. Your future is to the North, away from Fenn. Away from your father.
Towards a new era. Towards the North’s new future.
Goodbye my child,
Your mother.

I might be way off but I'm wondering if Mary isn't actually an Epsen or a Sinclair, but related to Je Ari Yenna, and a different family?

I found it on a Blue Tent memo in one of the later classrooms.

Looking at the maps in the grade 4 class north = inn and south = iss
Does anyone have an idea on the meaning of Yenna ? I'm trying to decode the meaning of Herbert's Erajan postcard, in the end he signs off with Lorja Yenna, Ajlor Lune, meaning "Last word (Yenna), first word water" I assume it might be a password or smth

I think it just translates to Goodbye land, hello water. Or something similar.
Je Ari Yenna is a person, statue in the Foyer.
