for those using windows machines .. press windows key + u to bring up the ease of access menu.

From there you can see "color filters" along with the choice to enable a keyboard shortcut to toggle the chosen filter.

choose the filter and it's intensity. ... enjoy.

i think i was seeing rooms that didn't have doors when drawing them. turns out they were locked doors i think.
