Request that the devs streamline and speed up some aspects of the game. (SPOILERS)
I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to want to move faster through the estate, and some of the slowdowns are starting to detract from my enjoyment. Here a few things I would love the dev to improve the user experience of (so it doesn't become such an annoyance once you are 20+ hours in):

- Opening safes, I won't list specifics because it's unnecessary, but wanting the resource in any given safe everytime you draft it's location ranges from a few seconds of annoyance having to enter the code every single time, to a slightly longer annoyance of having to watch a tiny little cutscene, to a multiple minute annoyance of the you know which safe. Please just make any safes you've already opened stay open forever.

- Using the terminals, while I originally loved the novelty of using the terminal it has become by far my biggest point of frustration, to the point where I'm realizing that I should probably put the game down for a time because I feel like stuff like the terminal is starting to just completely not respect my time. Using the terminal for experiments, security key configuration and god forbid remote connection every single day.. Please incorporate some way to speed up the terminal utilization.

- Picking up key/special items. Getting the little movement locking animation and splash screen detailing the item, please make it to where once you're picked up a special item once it no longer gets that special behavior, and treat it like picking up normal keys/gems/money.

- This one is a little more whiney than the previous 3, but personally if a mod were made for it I would get it in a heartbeat, movement speed is just a tad slow. I only notice it when I'm doing stuff outside or traveling a really long backtrack path in the estate, but I'm always of a mind that moving faster can never really be a bad thing. (coming from someone who is a staunch advocate for the movement speed mod in Stardew Valley for example.)

- This one is incredibly minor, but the animation and short fade to black when using the shovel also feels like an excessive timesink, once you're used the shovel 100+ times.

I absolutely love the game, I've never gone this crazy on a puzzle game before, I've even progressed so far that there's one particular "puzzle" later in the game I tried to cheat for because I do not like the type of challenge it provides translating Emajan etymology is not welcome in my brain unfortunately lol and I couldn't find anything on it online, making me realize I've even outpaced some guide writers!

I won't even complain about the RNG, cause I know I've reached the point in the game where I have tools to limit it, even if sometimes it can drive me crazy Looking at you needing the Tomb and the Lady's Chamber in the same run to open that dang diary.

Just please address some of the things that start to feel like the game (and the player) aren't respecting the player's time.

Edit: Fixed spoiler tags.

This is a great list of concerns.

To add more to this: add the gains from the safes to the room card when drafting, so it's easier to compare.

I had a thought quite a few times where stuff like offline unlocked keycards should even just stay like that permanently, and then security level can be changed with a switch flip outside of the terminal. Do similar things for all of the terminal functions.

I don't think it's whiny at all. If they're going to force us to do so much running around and resetting to make stuff happen, being able to move faster would be nice. For me, most annoying part of a new run is running all the way to the western hut just to draft ONE room, and then running all the way back. It feels like running the length of the entire mansion. That's crazy.

I think a slider that lets you go up to double your current speed would be a great solution. And while I'm here: please just put the hut right next to the fence or something? Or just let me auto-draft it when the run starts. Idk. It's annoying.

Can we skip the starting cutscene and either just give us an option to draft the West Path quicker and easier or something. I hated starting every run over there and the slow speed just compounds how annoying it felt.

For terminals having a computer keyboard is fast

Great suggestions!
Another idea would be to let you fast travel to rooms you have already done from the map and just take away the number of steps accordingly. But at the least the movement speed should be faster. Or at least give the option to change movement speed.

In my dream world I'd request a "Blue Prince for Dummies" version :-)

The computers are absolutely killing me. Sometimes I put off trying to access them because I know it's going to take forever and end up just forgetting to do it at all.
