Left multi solution Parlor empty handed
+---------------------------------------+-----------------+------------------------------------------+ | Statement | Suspected truth | Inverted lie | +---------------------------------------+-----------------+------------------------------------------+ | this box is empty | ❌ | this box has the price | | a box with a false statement is empty | ❌ | a box with a false statement is not emty | | there are two false statements | ✅ | | +---------------------------------------+-----------------+------------------------------------------+

I chose box 1, which was empty, so i wrote it down and also fund this solution.

+---------------------------------------+----------------------------------+----------------------------------+---------------------------------+ | Statement | Suspected truth | Inverted lie | | +---------------------------------------+----------------------------------+----------------------------------+---------------------------------+ | this box is empty | ✅ from actual opening or asuming | | | | a box with a false statement is empty | ✅ from box 3 | | 1 empty + 3 empty => 2 has gems | | there are two false statements | ❌ from box 1 + ✅ => ⚡️ | => there are two right statement | | +---------------------------------------+----------------------------------+----------------------------------+---------------------------------+

Have i overlooked something. And if not is it supposed to be this way or a bug?

If I have understood the puzzle correctly and it's been transcribed correctly here, the first table, starting with assuming the third statement is true, the second statement, "A box with a false statement is empty" would mean _two_ boxes would contain contain the gems. Since that can't be the case, it doesn't matter than the first statement would narrow it down.

In the second table, assuming 3 is false means that 1 tells you not to look at 1, 2 tells you that the box with the false statement is not empty, so the only possible box it could be in is 3.
