[Spoilers] Calendar date - bug or puzzle

From various clues (date of nominating the heir, correlating dates printed in the library book card when getting a book , I have determined that Day one is Nov 6th.

I have confirmed this by selecting the right date and time to open the timed safe on the Shelter , so I know I am right.

However in the drafting room? - the one with the diorama or the Great Hall there is an actual calendar in the wall and it marks “Day one” as Nov 7th .

Is this a bug? Some intentional misleading? A secret third thing?

Yes, of course. My math is just wrong but I am doing the math wrong across everything, so it ends up being right. I’m just subtracting everything- Nov 6th is an non-existent “day 0” I am basing my calculations on . Thanks for the help.

It's Nov 7th. The starting date is day 1, so to get the current day you have to add the current day minus 1 to the starting date. You got the timelock right because you were a day early but didn't account for the start date being day 1.

The part I'm confused about with the calendar though is that note is red.

Same problem - first day for me not 7 Nov for timelock puzzle (I tried even new save). Did everything as in "guides" and no luck. Didn't see it opens =\. I tried +\-1, and +\-2 days, with many PM\AM tries...nothing. Looks like a bug

It seems this puzzle isn't working correctly if your system's region and time settings aren't set to US.

Take a CLOSER look at that note in the security room. You dont NEED the magnifying glass, but it helps
