Dart Puzzle
I could just brute force the answer, but I was trying to just make sense of it.

Bulls eye is Yellow Square
1st row is Blue 10
Next row small is 10 Yellow
Next row is Pink 4
Last small row is 2 Yellow

From what I understand, blue adds, yellow substracts, pink multiplies and purple divides. Square in the middle is the square root of the color in order.

I am stumped on this one.

Can you upload a screenshot? I don't think that makes sense.
You would start with 10, but then subtract 10 (=0), THEN square it (0*0=0).

That's my same run through of it. It doesn't make sense to me.

Have you tried 4?
-2 * -2 = 4

(so the error in our logic is that you wouldn't square after the first subtraction, but after the last)

Try 4. 10-10= 0. 0x4=0. 0-2=-2. -2 squared=4.

The square means to square, not take the square root.

10-10=0
0^2=0
0*4=0
0-2=-2
-2^2=4

That's it... so it actually takes into consideration double negative making a positive?

No, you do the bullseye calculation after every applicable ring level. In this case, the first ring is just squaring 0, which is still 0.

Ah, that does sound more logical, thanks!

i got a dart puzzle that used sqrt10. that's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

I got the achievement for doing enough dart games, which I assume means the difficulty has capped, and I have yet to see one that involves taking a square root. There are definitely some fractions after a point, but they're usually rounded off pretty quickly.

The dart puzzle was easy at the beginning and now that I've progressed they've gone beyond my ability to solve them. I simply have no clue anymore.

yeah, they just started throwing like half of the area is painted. I take it this is a multiple of it? or half?

Blue = Addition
Yellow = Subtraction
Pink = Multiplication
Purple = Division

You calculate each ring from inner to outer in order. The starting number is always 0.

If the bullseye is lit, you perform the bullseye calculation at the end of EACH ring of a matching color before moving on to the next ring.

For the bullseye, you need to look at the symbol

Square = square
Diamond = Invert Number (i.e. 21 becomes 12)
Squiggly lines = round to the decimal place of the amount of lines. So for 1 line (ones), 9.1 rounds to 9, 2 lines (tens) 49 rounds to 50, 3 lines (hundreds) 95 rounds to 100.

If a segment isn't all the way colored in (i've only seen thirds), you divide that number by the amount it's filled in. So a 9 that's 1/3 filled in is treated as if it's 3.
