1000% what will happen. Imagine if Outer Wilds days were significantly longer, and on any given day 3/4 of the planets were randomly gone. That's this game.
Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to know. I think this is the kind of game I'd love to see a stream of to get the experience and story, and that way I don't have to be frustrated actually playing it like I was with Outer Wilds. It's too bad, really. The ending to that game was fantastic. I just wish the moment to moment gameplay wasn't built upon frustration and obfuscation. I'm glad people love these sorts of games, but give me a traditional adventure game, puzzle game or visual novel over them any day.
