Save game location

I’m trying to transfer my save game file from the Windows Game Pass version (I think I found the files, I have done it before with another Game Pass game) to the Steam version.

I can’t find the save game location of the Steam version. Does anyone know where they're located?

Yes! The save file is located in

C:/Users/[yourusernamehere]/AppData/LocalLow/Dogubomb/BluePrince/storage/MtHollyBlueprint.es3

They may be incompatible. It is a crapshoot whether Gamepass versions will transfer to Steam in a way that is able to be utilized and read.

Certainly report back on your findings.

Yea, it didn't seem to work unfortunately. I found a file that was like 150kb in the Game Pass location and tried to rename that to the es3 file but it didn't get recognized. Unfortunate.

The solution is in the reddit thread, can confirm it worked. I also managed to merge two profiles into one by copying text in the decrypted .es3


EDIT: merging the profiles messed up my history so better avoid

Was wondering if this was possible, since Microsoft sucks and made the game unplayable. Sounds like it's a bit of a headache.

I do not recommend anyone does this but at their own peril. The steps involved here aren't that simple.
