game crashing

yesterday my game was fine all day then today had 1 crash then noticed windows needed updating so did that now i cannot finish a run before the game crashes, was just in the basement finishing the puzzle then the game crashed again, 5 times it has crashed today. it was my first time in the basement too so im really upset about that

I bought this game 90 minutes ago and have yet to be able to finish a day because the game has crashed three times. This is really frustrating! I have verified the integrity of my game files and checked for a graphics card update but everything was fine. This is a unique issue for this game. Really considering returning it if it crashes one more time.

Also experiencing the issue. Once I reach rank 6 or so opening a door causes the computer to freeze and crash with a blue screen (looks like a video driver fail). Using AMD Adrenalin 24.12.1, RX 7900XT. Will update to 25.3.1 and see if it helps.

If this does not help, I will reluctantly refund the game, this is not the kind of issue I would expect to be happening regardless of the game's technical state on release as this is pretty severe - such a shame this has to be my first impression, I was really excited to try it out.

I'm also experiencing the issue on an NVIDIA RTX 4080 Super, nothing I've done seems to make a difference. Graphics drivers are up to date and everything.

try rolling back your driver to a previous one, seems the new drivers from nvvidia could be causing some issues with 4000 and 3000 cards, my issue ended up being more to do with pc issues which are mostly resolved for me now. i re installed windows then rolled back drivers to a previous version and everything seems ok so far, still testing though :D

I have had no problems with the game whatsoever until I just now got to day 20. Twice in a row on day 20, the game has completely crashed out my PC, causing my PC to restart. It's truly amazing how this game went from one of my favorite games ever, to being such a disappointment, in the blink of an eye.

yeah it happens sadly, just how it goes sometimes, however sometimes its just pc issues, ever since i changed my drivers to an older one and re installed windows ive had no crashes on blue prince at all. so u by chance have a 4000 or 3000 series nvidia gpu?

Updated AMD Adrenalin to 25.3.1, seems to have helped! No issues since.

I experienced a similar crash earlier today, though I hadn't been prior to the latest patch. Submitted a bug report already.
