Figured out the logic to "crack" a couple of things - great puzzles, devs! I love this game!
Overarching guide: "If you count small gates, eight dates crack eight safes"

For the office: If you look in the Foyer room, there's a bust of the guy on top of the office safe; he's actually named "Count Isaac Gates". The name of the book listed as found on the paper in the desk is "March of the Counts", so you have March (03) as the month, then you literally "count small gates" - the number of small Count Gates busts is 3, for a code of 0303.

For the drawing room: Here, you didn't need to count small gates; you needed to count small *gaits*. There's pictures on the wall of multiple people/animals, with arrows showing the length of their step (their gate). If you count the number of women pictures, there's 4. If you count the number of old-man-with-cane pictures, there's 15. There's no 15th month, so the code for the safe has to be 0415.

At first I thought this post was nothing new but the counting of gates is mind blowing to me right now. I think we all thought it meant that the orchard gate is meant to count as a safe. Because it also uses a Date as a code!

Then again other safes don't count gates. For example the Boudaries and the shelter safe.

Is there a safe in the drawing room? Or is it a code for something else?

Yeah, there is a safe hidden in the drawing room. Hint: Examine the drawing in the center of the room on the painting easel. Way bigger hint in case you don't see it: Candle holders... .
