Room Rarity is just off for some rooms

So I just got the shrine room and got the Blessing which allows me to get a random RARE room instead of drafting one of the three available.

After using that I got The ballroom. I've played so many runs, it's clearly in the tens. And I've NEVER even SEEN that room pop up in the drafts.
This should be a rare room, yeah? It's listed as Standard. That's the second rarity after literally commonplace.

The Utility Box is the rarity above that, unusual. Heck I've seen actual rare rooms pop up multiple times over the four days, or even within the same day!
that room either has a very specific but somewhat easy to achieve way to guarantee it or it's straight up wrong.

I refuse to acknowledge, the validity of it's rarity status. And I'm getting weirdly irrationally mad about it.

I have managed to draft the Ballroom twice now without the shrine buff, and as far as I can tell it's not dependent on anything specific, it really is just very rare.

have a feeling some rooms have a pre requisite room, like sauna, pumb and locker. has pool but are not listed. or has certain spawn spots like 8 green rooms can only be on the edge.

The specific rooms on the edges are at least directly mentioned in a letter. Also some rooms are wing specific. Like the garage can't be inside and only west.

Also another room is at least mentioned for conditions. Iirc there's a letter mentioning someone forgot HOW to get into the lab again. While in the lab there's only a letter of someone not being able to find it for 3 days. But the first letter sounds to me like there's a way to guarantee it. I wouldn't know it though.

So there's at least precedence for rooms with specific draft conditions.

Agreed, some more examples of specific drafting req's include the east and west wing hallways being on their respective edges. Archives, great hall, cloister, weight room, and rotunda all seem to only be able to generate on an interior room as well. I believe the silver key spawns rooms with 4 exits, I've never tried to use the silver key on an exterior room, might try that next.
After spamming the Berry picker blessing on the first few rooms I suspect that many of the 'rare' rooms that can be picked by it cannot show up in the first couple of ranks.

Four way rooms can't appear on the wings for the same reason three way rooms always align with the wall. You can connect a door to the outside.

Early rank rares I've drafted the freezer on rank 1 once. (But after getting to a high rank first) Unless you need some room beforehand, the freezer is always an option for rank 1. I think that's a rare one at least

Also fun fact I've just learned about this the berry picker applies to the outer room as well and it just gives you whatever room. I got the Observatory in the house once with the berry. I hope I can get it in the outer room one day, can you imagine!? The attic would be nice too
