Wonderful. Thanks for your attention to the matter.
Would you please consider 16:10 support in this upcoming patch as well (2560 x 1600, etc.)?
Much appreciated and congrats on an amazing launch!
It is potentially monitor-breaking though. A large amount, maybe even the majority of 21:9 monitors use OLED screens, and running too much 16:9 content on them eventually leads to uneven wear on the pixels in the middle vs the sides, which is a form of burn-in.
Personally, although I much prefer 21:9, I'd still be willing to play a 16:9 game if not for that.
And before someone brings it up, did I have to get an OLED? Of course not, but I also don't have to play the exceedingly few games these days that don't have at least basic support for 21:9.
In this case it doesn't really matter anyway since they are already working on supporting it.
Thank you for making this original game of my favorite genres mixed into this beauty
Yes it works in the gamepass version. As for why devs can't do it themselves, that's been the burning question for every UW user considering there are fan fixes usually within a few days of launch for popular games.
Engines like Unity and Unreal literally support this aspect ratio out of the gate so unless the game is using fixed backgrounds then there really is no excuse.
