As an aside, the best strategy for getting specific rooms seems to be to get to the high rank rooms and pray that you get the study. 8 rerolls per room is no joke, assuming you have the gems.
Oh man we got it almost simultaneously haha
That is extremely disappointing! Good work you two. At least I found a new note in the shed I guess?
with you there. still looking for answers to:
the rest of the letters/safes (one is in the trophy room) [\spoiler]
basement key [\spoiler]
fourth flame [\spoiler]
pump room [\spoiler]
the letters [\spoiler]
I'm at 6 letters right now so if that's so then that's the last letter, no? I don't think I've ever been there, now that I'm thinking about it.
Also, I don't know if its relevant or just a bug, but the mansion's reflection doesn't appear in the wishing well in the front yard, only the surrounding mountains show up. Spoooooky!
This looks like it has something to do with the chess pieces: Bishop, Rook, Queen & King (or vice versa)
Also there has been a few comments on Swansong. But no one has commented that it's also the registration on the car in the garage
No idea for the pump room beyond the fact that its probably rare and you have to draft it after the pool room.
other idea, could it be for one of the doors in the great hall. 7 locked doors, side doors lead out, corner doors had (for me, when normal aligned) right side top and bottem doors. left side had at bottom upgrade disk. didnt get the top. but seen mention of east lever being in great hall. ok so the middle doors are strange, not leading to anything but a "sliver" of a room. could this be where basement can be found
at trading station outside, you can switch secret garden key -> basement key -> hall pass (halls dont take steps when leading from one to another) -> secret ganden and so on
ohh and if i remember right its sledge hammer -> purse -> salt shaker -> 2 gems
one room comes to mind mirror room lets you copy a room so you can draft it twice. boiler double lab?
now im trying to reverse engineer how you are supposed to get there
Edit: also i dont know if its been posted but i made it to the Vault for the first time and opened box 149 inside was:
Samantha Hayes' Passport
-date of birth 01-12-53 seemed to be the only notable date
an allowance token
and a bunch of coins (didnt count sorry)
We know there are at least 8 safes (including the orchard gate) and that they are opened by dates in the MMDD format.
