Missing two found rooms and looking for very, very gentle hints.
I have found room 46, I've found 7 sanctum keys . I have seen the names thrown around here and on the internet of the two rooms I've not found and just want some gentle hints about them.

Throne Room and Lost & Found are the two I've not seen. Can I have found these before entering room 46? Is there a special condition I need to meet to see them? For Throne room, do I need to have the King active with Black selected and just be lucky? I really have no idea where to look for the other one.

Yes and no. They are not in the default drafting pool, and like some other rooms you've come across by now must be found and added to it. But you can absolutely find them before reaching Room 46 if you know what has to be done.

That will help you actually draft it, but not find it. You're going to want to hit the library books again for some new clues. A glass may help.

Could call it buried treasure, but it's for sure not in the house. Where else have you seen a map? Bring your trusty glass.
You need to find the floorplans physically (like you did with say the museum exhibition replica, mechanium, treasure trove, or the tunnel) before you can draft them, as Silyon said.

Silyons hint to the first room might be a bit vague, I'm not going to give you another hint I'm going to instead tell you what you are looking for by using the hint Silyon gave you. Only read if you are stumped as this will spoil things.
your objective is to find microchips

Your first hint.... I have found a clue in A New Clue and saw that it provided a new spot for the microchip . Is that what you are referencing? Do I have to find the other microchips first?
close, but that is not the clue Silyon is referencing.

Wait, I just read your spoiler and it looks like the same thing that I spoilered, but you are saying that it isn't?

Hmm... okay. Let's see if we can keep them very light and unstick you.

The big hint above is a general reminder for everyone ever when you get stuck:
Be sure you are looking at EVERYTHING that has the eyeball interaction with the Magnifying Glass - clues be all over the place.

Throne Room: You are correct in that you need to get all of the microchips. If you are stuck on doing that: A New Clue has the information needed. If you only have the Original Manuscript, buy the one in the Bookstore, too. If you only have the bookstore one... you may have missed things in Room 46.

Lost and Found: You missed a hint that almost required the Magnifying Glass. If you read that and you are thinking "Duh, Internet Dummy, I knew that!" then Focus your search on things in the Underground... obviously, with the magnifying glass.

In short, spot on. You need all three Microchips, and I assumed the one from New Clue was the one you were missing. In that case, your path leads underground. Big area, lots of notes for lots of things. Look for a tie to security.

Actually was the clue I was referencing. Man, I hate spoiler-culture forcing a lack of clarity into conversation.

I interepreated what we said as 2 different things.
I thought you were talking about the sundial, and that wasnt what Silyon was referencing.

Were you talking about the books: Tender cipher, Drafting the sixes, Uncle Awe and Lunar Renamed? Because that is the clue that "provided a new spot for the microchip", which is what OP said they found. I interperated that to mean the sundial, not the microships themselves

Also A New Clue reveals the location of both missing microchips, not just one.

No, I was attempting to point at the Corner Cases. I keep forgetting the other Microchip is referenced in the book as well, because it's such a subtle clue you're only likely to realize with hindsight. I dunno where The sundial even enters the conversation, as that has nothing to do with the room OP's looking for.

Exactly, which is why when I thought Imminent Orbit was talking about the sundial, I said it was the wrong clue in that book. Trying to nudge them towards looking for other clues, like the corner cases, instead.

If you reread Imminent Orbits post about what they found in A New Clue , and don't assume that they got the right clue, can you see how finding "a new spot *for* THE microchip" (singular, also the preposition "for" ) can be interperated as them finding the sundial? Especially as they are following that up with "Do I have to find the other microchip*S* first?" (plural)

Yes. The additionall info in the spoilertags are still not giving away that much. They point in directions to look for clues and tell which direction isnt the right one. They do not reveal any solutions. But as they are technically more than the OP asked for they are hidden in spoilertags.

I hope the OP isnt assuming any spoilertag is ok to read.

The only spoilers I intended for them to read were the two instances I addressed them directly. The unspoilered text around should indicate that they probably dont want to read what is spoilertagged.

Thanks for the interest, everyone. :) Reading some of the conversation and trying to avoid too much, let me clarify, exactly, in a completely spoilered text:

Before posting, here is where I was.
- I have found and opened the sundial.
- I was kind of disappointed when that happened because I had only discovered the one microchip from unlocking Blackridge and hadn't seen any signs about where to look for the rest.
- I had found the clue in A New Clue about castling and have unlocked the passage beyond that, as well as revealing the puzzle with the clock there (I have not solved that one yet.)
- I have all of the rooms except two in my directory, so I am familiar with digging or finding them.

With that info, what would be the best little push you can give? Look at A New Clue or other books again? Go somewhere and investigate more?

There are two different clues for two different microchips... In A New Clue, did the final step for your microchip involve a hammer or a shovel? The one you don't have involves the other.

Check A new clue again. <- Direct answer to what you asked. spoilered for others.

The first bullet on your bulletpoint list is what I thought you were referencing. That isn't directly related, but because of your followup question I said you were close.
(Does not spoil anything for you specifically) -> Your followup asked if you needed to find the microchips. And the answer to that is :
*Heavy spoiler, with a spoiler inside a spoiler in the second part* -> Yes, that is the thing Silyon was pointing you to. Which is why I said it was your objective. The sundial *heavier spoiler* -> however is not your objective. You can check it out when you have the microchips, but it does not hold the floorplan
