Books during drafting (spoilers)
Sometimes when drafting a row of eight books appears and there's a note in A New Clue about paying attention to the colours of the spines. I strongly suspect that I'm being given a sequence of colours that I should be able to translate into some sort of clue, but I'm colourblind and the game's not got its beta testing features finished yet so I've got not chance of figuring out what this is on my own, but I don't just want someone to tell me the answer.

So I'm gonna list the things I'd compare the colours of these books to if I had the ability to do that. Can you tell me if one of these is right (and what the colour relationship is) but not tell me if it's wrong and let me think about it some more?

Are those books the same colours as...

...the borders of the rooms being drafted
...the wall or floor colour of the rooms being drafted
...the covers of the books that you can get out of the library
...the colours of the pins in room 406
...the numbers of the math puzzles in the classroom / dart board
...the colour of the books on a shelf in the library
...the colour of a row of files in the archive
...the colour of symbols on the slot machines in the casino

Yeah, I think I've started scraping the bottom of the barrel there. Let's start with that.

Again, I really don't want a spoiler or answer to the puzzle, I'm keen to figure it out myself. Just a "Yes, the colours on the books match these things in this order." or "No, those colours don't match."

I believe they are part of a rerolling mechanic. So I don't think they are deciphereable.

I wasn't sure how to respond to this thread. I believe what he and you are talking about is the books that show up when you draft the Study.
Well if they don't mean anything that's easy, I don't have to worry about it.

I'm so reluctant to dismiss anything as not meaning anything in this game.

That's a good mindset though be careful you don't trap yourself in it.

There are things really hidden in the least likely of places and much closer than you think ;)
