I've made a mistake.
I thought I was being clever when I used the Blessing of the Monk to draft a copy of The Foundation . Now my Outer Room is locked, and stuck in it's initial state, and I don't want to start a new save file. Anyone else shoot themselves in the foot in this particular way, or am I actually just short of genius and should attempt to lower the lift in this new instance?

Kind of feel like this is is punishment for not "reading the room", but I don't feel like this is an intentional outcome.

after a few ingame days mrs babbage should contact you with a solution according to the others that have done the same.

Ah, good to know I'm not the first to try this. Thanks for the peace of mind.

I did the same thing when I was tired and wanted to quit, I clicked on the wrong room by accident. So I used Mrs Babbage's solution. It worked in the sense that the room had disappeared the next day. But Mrs Babbage offered me the same solution again. Weird. That was about 25 runs ago and the Foundation has never been back. I don't think it's a problem, I don't really need it anymore. But still, very strange. Bug...?

It took a long time for my replacement foundation to show up, yeah.

Switching to linux, Blue Prince is the only game with cloud save issue.

I Had to start a new game, power hammer in hand, unlocked the shortcut to the basement and now it is part of my routine (no more back and forth for room46), outer room > basement > back to the estate. I don't even need to place the foundation :)
I liked the positioning I had for it, three door rooms are usually in short supply for me when I get deeper into the house, so I hope it shows up somewhere decent so I dont have to do the same trick again. Now I just need to get the Shrine to show up again...
