Save data wiped randomly?
I have dualboot and I have 126h on my blue prince windows save (with steam cloud enabled), getting pretty deep into the lategame puzzles.
I switched to linux for a second, installed blue prince there, started the game, and none of my saves were there, I think steam cloud had some sort of sync error even though i had an internet connection. I switched back to windows, booted up blue prince and everything was gone there was well, all the trophies, the stuff i unlocked etc. I dunno if my steam cloud data is gone as well, because there's *something* there if i check https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage.
I guess my questions are: does anyone understand steam cloud saves + problems with it better then i do, and can tell me why that happened? im pretty sure it was my mistake somehow and i'd like to avoid it in the future, though i thought that the game allowed crossplay,
and 2. do i have to replay the whole game now? because lowkey if i had to make sure all the rng i had fought for with the contraptions and the puzzle solutions, my conservatory settings etc has to be redone again, im not sure if i want to play the game anymore :(

Hi milo, sorry to hear this. Could you send a ticket to our support desk: https://rawfury.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1 so that the team can look into this? Thank you.

Chiming in to say a similar thing happened to me. I've been playing on my main desktop (running Pop_OS) and everything's been fine. I downloaded it on my laptop (running Nobara) and found that there were no saves present.

Interestingly, on my laptop, if I go into where Steam saves Windows-assumed game data
~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata
and open Blue Prince's folder, I see a pfx folder, but I also see a
corrupted_pfx-<numbers>.bak
folder. I'm hoping that's the real working save data...

My plan presently is to go home, unplug my desktop from ethernet and boot it up and try and save off my save file before it connects to Steam Cloud
(small edit for code formatting)
