I need some hints (Spoilers!) (Post-sigils)
I've found the original manuscript of A New Clue, and it seems to hint towards several additional clues within the book.
I've tried to figure out what i could, and failed.
I'd like some hints for the following things :
A - The suspicious X written under "beds". I've tried digging in every bedroom, but found no dig spots.

B - The numbers that seem to appear/get hinted at in many pages (8, med. gait, Orinda(?), and so on).

C - The "denoted in verse" thing. I assume it's an anagram, but unlike the other anagrams i've seen in A New Clue, it doesn't seem as simple as just finding a book with the letters scrambled.

D - Anything else in the book/manuscript that i'm supposed to find that i haven't. (I already found DOOR and the place it's used in long before getting reading the manuscript. I have all microchips, the Satellite Dish, and the A.Key.)

E - Also, this is unrelated to A New Clue, but how in the world do am i supposed to get "still water"? (or "still waler", as the game puts it. I assume that's a typo.)
I've tried a bunch of things, including one idea that seems more logical than whatever the actual answer could possibly be. At this point i'd like a pretty big hint for this one.

E - There's something hidden in the trading post. What's it called?

And don't forget you can't carry water in your bare hands.

Can you tell me where you started on the E thing? I don't know what leads into that.

I see, thanks. That's going to be annoying. My best idea before that was to leave the Watering Can in the Coat Check overnight.

There's multiple things leading into it, you'll need both of the later permanent additions, the Blue Tents and the Satellite Dish.

Additional hints for what leads into it :
Hint 1 (vague) : It's tied to a familial thing.

Hint 2 (vague) : There's also a related Treasure Trove memo.

Hint 3 (relatively direct) : Have you gotten the data transfer for the new experiments data packet?

Hint 4 (pretty direct) : Did you ever figure out where the pages Hannah Peterson was searching for had wound up before she ever requested them?

I can provide more hints, if you want.

I think you need to start earlier than hint 1 judging by hint 4 :p

I got six permanent upgrades. But I havent drawn that many memos from the treasure trove
Are you talking about Mrs Petersson that checked out Swim Bird?

I'm weirdly in a place where I dont even know where to look for the starting point of puzzles. I've come across hints midway for the E puzzle on forums or while looking up other things ive been stuck on...
Just never seen noticed/ put things together for the start of it, inside or outside of the game.

Hint 1 wasn't related to hint 4, but let's go chronologically from 3, since 4 seems to be the part that confuses you? (Hint 4 may have been a bit confusing if you didn't see the relevant documents.)

Hint 5 : There's a letter hidden in one of the Classrooms (i think it was the first classroom), addressed to Hanna Peterson. That letter isn't required, but it gives context for what i was going for with hint 4.

Hint 6 : Unlocking the Satellite Dish should have done a few things. New mail in the Office, which leads to Staff Announcements, which after a few days leads you to the now operational Data Transfer, but i think you can get the data transfer as soon as the Satellite Dish is up, from any terminal other than Blackbridge Grotto's.

Hint 7 : Among the new experiments from the data transfer packet you can get after unlocking the Satellite Dish, there's one for removing crates. Have you triggered it a bunch? (You can create a custom experimental packet to increase the chances of seeing it.)

Hint 8 : You don't need to remove all the crates, somewhere about 26 is enough. You also don't need to open any doors.

Hint 9 : There should be a key among the planks near the hard hat.

Hint 10 : That key goes in some file cabinet, obviously, but where? You can try it everywhere, but to save you some time, it won't be the Archives, Security, or any of the rooms in the house. (It won't be in the Outer Room, either.)

Hint 11 : What the key unlocks is found exactly Underground, in the small side room connected to the gear room, between the Mine and the Foundation-side of the Reservoir.. Hints 3-11 were all the "leading up to it" hints for the Satellite Dish portion. Do you also want some for the Blue Tents portion?

Ok...
I have completly missed that letter.

The staff announcements havent really gone anywhere yet for me. Im only on day 67. Someone just gave Simon the solution to the painting puzzle over the staff announcements and Mrs Babbage and Mr Moor debated a bit.

I have found the family core, but I have no idea what to do with the 5 by 5 Herbert couldnt solve

For that puzzle :

Hint 1 : There is a hint in Herbert's notes on the puzzle.

Hint 2 : It's related to the one thing his brother had found.

Hint 3 : Herbert may say in that note that he never solved that puzzle, but i seriously doubt it. At the very least, someone solved it before you found it.
