Game all of a sudden not opening

Hi , was playing away merrily for 3 days now the game won't open when I launch it , I can hear the startup music playing, the game however will not materialise on the screen, it merely sits minimised on the taskbar.. .Alt+tabbing to it to no avail. have tried verifying game files, deleting reinstalling, updating video drivers, nothing works.. have logged a ticket but wondering if anyone else is coming across the same issue?

Hey... sorry to hear that. I had a somewhat similar problem where my game would more or less immediately crash to desktop after launching. My problem started when I tried installing a Widescreen Mod Fix that actually worked the first time I launched with it, but would crash on every other startup. I removed the mod, but it still kept crashing. I THEN did everything that you already noted in your post with no luck. However, the game mysteriously starts again for me for some reason I can't quite identify. Maybe try removing your current save file, in fact delete all the Blue Prince files that are in your Users/AppData directory (you need to show Hidden Files to see it), and then do another install through Steam. That didn't actually work for me the first time I did it, but maybe somehow that helped. Maybe not very helpful response, but at least now you know that someone else had a similar problem and that the issue SOMEHOW got resolved. BTW... I also put in a ticket with the developer roughly a week ago and still haven't heard back, so it might be awhile.

Edit: btw... when I say "remove your current save file", I just mean move it to another directory and then put it back where it was when you get the game working again.

so it turns out that it actually does open, it just opens in microscopic size at the top left of my screen - have tried to force it to use fullscreen but still no joy.. hopefully I'll get some response on my support ticket soon or else will look to refund, and that's a shame as I'm enjoying it..

There is a settings file in AppData/LocalLow/Dogubomb somewhere that you could try deleting.

Last thing I'll say is that there is a file titled "Player" in the same folder as your save file (C:\Users\YourName\AppData\LocalLow\Dogubomb\BLUE PRINCE). it's a text file that apparently is a log of all the processes that your computer goes through when launching the game. Most of it is probably beyond your (and my) comprehension, but maybe you'll see something in there that's helpful (either for yourself, or to show to whoever answers your ticket request).
