At any rate it does make sense that what you're asking about above resets because those dirt piles are similar to trunks, they're intended to be temporary loot sites that change location day to day. If they were meant to be permanent the lab experiment would have said "permanent" in the reward description like it does for various permanent ones.
You think that's funny, the first time I did this I had a Conference Room. I'd hate to be the janitor that cleaned up THAT mess! 😄
While they scream, "YOU THINK THIS IS A GAME?!"
Something something, Viscera Cleanup Crew.
I'm more a Crime Scene Cleaner kinda guy.
it's entirely possible the one staff that keeps coming to leave you your allowance has to painstakingly undig all of your holes every night before you wake up.
what a thankless job
He also piled a bunch of dirt on the conference room table, for some reason.

Wait wait wait wait
Is that what happens if you have the lab experiment to spread dirt on the driveway but you have conference room active?
Yes. It is a "Spread" effect, so the Conference room "catches" the dirt piles. Which makes perfect sense yet is also absurd. And much more handy than running outside erratically through the day as you need keys or w/e.
So you just jackhammer the table?
LMAO
