Dare Mode Question: 0 Keys, 0 Gems and 0 Coins
I'm running into an issue on Day 4 of my Dare Mode run. I got the dare "...end each day with 0 keys, 0 gems and 0 coins."

No matter what I do, I fail that dare at the end of Day 4,

My last attempt I had 0 keys, 0 gems and 0 coins up top, and the only items in my inventory were Sledge Hammer and Coin Purse. It ran through my mind that maybe the Estate Inventory was included in the dare, so I checked Security before ending the day; 0 keys, 0 gems and 0 coins there as well.

I ended my day and still failed the dare.

Is this a glitch? Or am I missing something about the rules of that dare? My only other thought was that I have 2 allowance (from Quest Bedroom on one of the first three days of the run). Is the allowance causing it to fail somehow?

Only thing I can think of off the top of my head is maaaaybe Coin Purse Interest being counted as having .33 / .66 coins instead of 0.

I was thinking on it some more, do you think a key in coat check would trigger it?

You can't coatcheck a regular key, right?
So a major key? The basement key doesnt dissapear after using it so are you expected to complete the dare without using the basement key?
Try to end the day with nothing but a major key in your inventory (preferebly as soon as you get the major key). Se if that triggers it

I put the Basement Key in Coat Check on Day 2 (hoping to use it on Foundation or Fountain on a later day). That is my leading guess as to why it keeps failing me even when my inventory and the Estate inventory are both completely empty.

I rolled a new save in lieu of banging my head against an infinite RNG wall on this one trying to get the Basement Key out of Coat Check and also dispose of it. Coat Check failing you is pretty cheeky if that is indeed the culprit.
Well remember when you coat check something, it holds it in there and keeps it out of the pool.

Hey, I had a day one dare of "Don't pick up the blueprints". THat is pretty cheeky if you ask me.
I did not look at the dare before picking up the blueprints.

but yeah, it most likely counts your coatcheck as your inventory and is failing you because of the basement key.
I do not think that the "estate inventory" counts towards failing that dare. It would mean you couldnt enter the antechamber as the key you cant get rid of would spawn.

Right. I guess my gripe is that I am nearly soft-locked on Day 4 because of a room that isn't currently in my estate. I don't think I am ending the day "with" a key if it is in an undrafted Coat Check any more than I am ending the day "with" the major key that is sitting in an undrafted Music Room (for example).

Nah you just need coat check and pull it out.

Then I would also need to dispose of it from my inventory before the end of the day.

I cleared an entire new Dare Mode run from scratch just now in less time than I spent experimenting with why this one was breaking :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
