Missing letter 'missing' or missing? (no spoilers pls)

Does anyone know if the missing red letter is obtainable, or is it completely missing from the game atm?

Been trying to work out possible ways to get it and want to make sure Im not burning time looking for something that actually doesn't exist.

Just need confirm/deny on if its doable, no hints or spoilers on how to get it if you can please!

That's one of the biggest unsolved mysteries right now. Nobody is sure if it is in the game or not, so good luck if you're going to try finding it

Dev hasn't made any indication its impossible then? Think Ill take that as being possible, would be messed up if they had people working at a dead end without saying anything.

and yeah doubt I'll be the one to find it, still fun to theorize and try!

I mean the fortune teller did say that we'd only ever read seven and he wasn't wrong about anything else, so... Wonder if it really is just MIA

Kind of late game spoilers, more about story/lore than mechanics: In the Blue Tent Blue memo in the Rumpus room, it says Alzara was banished in Ejera for a prophecy he gave that did not come to fruition. This could mean he has told other untrue fortunes, so possibly the 8th letter does exist.

the great alzara only says that simon will only find 7 letters, probaly the 8th is written by himself


oh and funny thing: in the commisionary aswell in the gift shop, on the arcade for dirigiblocks is a red letter envelope, so maybe this content is DLC

Interesting. I assumed you can only read 7 because you can see where the 8th was and it's no longer there.
But I haven't yet worked out who took it or why. So maybe I'm still missing the part of the story that suggests you will be able to read all 8?
