foundation from below?

so, what happens if i dont have foundation, get a pump room, make the level of reservoir one down, empty the fountain or get in from the mausoleu, take the boat and with a keycard get the elevator down? could i choose its location?

or would it not work because elevator needs to be activated begorehand?

I can't see how this would work, as the only routes that I know to get into the area below the Foundation require you to have the Foundation and have taken the elevator down and opened those routes.

After you have done that, then you can use the elevator to enter the house without first coming down.

You can get there I do all the time and I wanted to from the tombs to park the boat there but it says you need a key card to call it down

If foundation hasn't been drafted in the house, you can press the call button either with a key card, or with keydoor power disabled and unlocked, but nothing will happen. Source: I tried it

Ah yeah, maybe a hint please. :-)

I only know of three ways into the Basement. One requires taking the elevator down.. The other two I know of are the Concealed Entrance, which you open from within the Basement by pressing the button. And the Cliffside Exit that you open by smashing the wall from within the Basement.

I don't know how you can get in there if you haven't already been in there once.

Weren't you talking about pump room earlier? And there is a connection to an outer room as well. I will leave it to you to figure that out, though

Hmm. The only thing I can think of is that the Concealed Entrance can be opened from the other side.. But I thought I'd already tried that and it didn't work. Maybe I am mistaken.
