I lost also a sanctum key (the mechanarium one) in the lost and found room, and now, it's no longer anymore where it is supposed to be. I hope it's not lost forever, because it was also the last one that I was missing.

I have had this game swing both ways with the RNG. Like it took 10 days to finally find an item I needed, but the house was done and no coat check. Next day that was the item carried over by the moon pendant. And I had 15 things in my pack. It is a bursty game in general. You have multiple days where not much happens and then a bunch happens at once.
