Black screen after calling it a day

The game is only rendering a black screen right now after calling it a day. My PC is not frozen, and the game still renders and move the in-game cursor when I switch to the application. Assuming I will have to force quit, but would appreciate anyone who may know a fix to keep progress.

I restarted the game and completed the day (89) again, and once more it faded to black. Pretty worrying, I'll submit a bug report.

Oh is the save bug I've heard about on console? Once you get near or around day 100.

I don't think so. I believe that occurs around day 120. What happens is you can still progress to the following days, but it won't actually save, so you lose all that progress when you close the game. And I think it may have been fixed?

In this case, the game just breaks when I end the day. It doesn't save any progress or even let me start day 90.

I had this happen to me. I just clicked around where the continue button would normally appear and eventually after clicking around enough the button registered and I was able to continue. The interactivity of the buttons are still there even if they are not visually there.

I tried this too at the time but to no avail. I even plugged in my controller (which the game's logs showed it registered) and mashed A, but still nope.

I'm experiencing this bug now too :( I really don't want to force quit and lose all my progress

This happened to me awhile back (around day 77 I think?) and just happened again on Day 118. Pretty upsetting to lose an entire day of progress after a really successful run.

I'm on a Steam Deck, and if it's relevant I had the Blessing of the Monk activated and I called it a day in the Passageway.

erm well that’s a bit of a waste of the blessing I believe
But I’ve also had this game freeze on me right after a good run before I get the chance to save. Really frustrating

That’s how I beat Dark Deception lol
