The speak easy upgrade for billiards is a game changer
By day 50 I found myself actively avoiding bliards unless I desperately needed resources, yes you can brute force it but it doesn't feel great. I'm no dummy but that dart board will make you second guess just how smart you are. The speak easy changes all that to one simple addition problem to open the dartboard. Now just gotta set it back to standard instead of rare.

Yeah I restarted the game to do this upgrade after originally choosing the Break Room. Having a free key card was cool but not wasting 10 minutes each run on math is better.

Yeah once you get access to offline terminals electronic locks become much less of a concern. It can still blow a run up but it's less painful than splitting an atom on a dartboard
Pathetic. Break room one love.
But i would like to have possibilite to skip this pazle(after getting tphory). It just does not bring somthing new and it`s become boring to solve this againg and again.
Also Parlor have similar problem, but worse, because is start reapiting

Reading the discussions around this game make me feel like I'm the only one that paid any attention in math class.
That's cool, but you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you pick a stupid upgrade like I did.

That's really dismissive. It isn't the arithmetic that is hard (usually), but doing off-the-cuff stuff involving a ton of fractions and rounding, and trying to discern the specifics of some of the symbols and symbol combinations. Like, I have a PhD in a related subject and I still too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy a bunch of time.

I appreciate the patch reducing the number of steps you have to go through.

Then take out a calculator. You're playing on a literal computer. It's like 30 seconds of math per run.

I'm sorry but I'm not doing math that requires pen and paper to maybe be rewarded with 2 keys in a video game. It isn't fun and doesn't respect my limited time. Once it progresses past using the square root I was out. Use this to feel superior if you want but remember Einstein married his cousin. Do with that what you will.

Square root isn't the same thing as squared. The game never asks you to take the square root of anything.

This is what I mean about being the only one to pay attention in math class.
