Migrate game save to Game Pass version

I previously played the game at my friend's, and I want to continue the game on my Game Pass version. I tried to copy the MtHollyBlueprint.es3 file to \AppData\Local\Packages\RawFury.BluePrince_9s0pnehqffj7t\SystemAppData\wgs\***\***, which is the Game Pass version save file location, and rename it to the original save file name, but the game crashes at the loading screen. Is there any way to edit the save file or maybe update the game to change the save file structure and make it easy to migrate?

You probably ain't getting this, not going to lie. Game Pass saves are notorious for being incompatible. You could try to reach out to the dev team directly and see if they can fix it for you but honestly, just start over. In the time it would take fiddling around to fix it or make it work, you could just redo it all.

People need to treat gamepass versions as separate from Steam, cause they are.
