RNG and Minor Solution Ideas
While I love the idea of the roguelike puzzle game, I feel like a lot of the frustration comes from these mechanics. I want to post small possible solutions that might help without cutting into the actual core mechanics.

My main thought is a hold system. A single slot that you can swap a single "held" room with one of the three drawn so that you can keep an option open for later. The room you swap the held room with will be put into the hold slot and you'll be able to either use the previously held room or return it back to the deck by picking another.

A hold system would add a layer of strategy about what to hold, while also reducing the annoyance of finally drawing a room you need but it being somewhere completely unusable. you could also bring a hallway around to keep a crowded map from trapping you or get a better angle on a corner by traveling to a different room.

Feel free to reply with other suggestions that might help mitigate the RNG without damaging the system.

There is a way to Hold a room in the game, but not swap it. That would be interesting to try out.

I also think that it would benefit the player to be able to start with some Dice, maybe a way to permanently increase it (Up to like 6 or so).
I wouldn't mind more help getting the things I need, especially as my path gets narrower and narrower. However, the game has RNG-shattering mitigation built in as long as you play long enough.
