Cannot use repellent

I'm not sure if I'm doing things wrong: when I have the repellent I go to a room and press the X button on my keyboard as indicated, but nothing happens (also tried with a controller). Am I missing something, or is it a bug?

It doesn't do anything that day; in subsequent days the room will be removed and won't show up to draft for a week.

It still should give a message indicating that you used it up and this is gonna happen.
Are you using any keyboard other than QWERTY? Try hitting the key that would be X on a QWERTY?
There is a similar bug where some key correspondences aren't correctly coded for some actions, so for instance AZERTY keyboard users can't move carts forward unless we hit the W key (instead of our Z key, which is the "up/forward" key the rest of the time).

That's what I would expect, but I don't get any feedback, and the repellent stays in my inventory, so I assume it's not being used.

I do have a system in French, but I specifically switched my keyboard to qwerty and azerty both, and in both cases X is in the same place, with no result.

And since I've also tried with my controller (Xbox controller, also X), I assume it might be something else than a keyboard issue.

NB: I retrieved from a check room, maybe there is a bug there. I'll try again next time I get hold of one.

I have the same issue. But in my case, I already did use one Repellent on an Outer Room, so I do know the item works.

Though, just the same way, I picked it up from a Coat Check and it did not work at all. Which is a shame since I planned to experiment with it.

I used the repellant in a spare (green) room, for some reason I got a message that the courtyard was removed for a week. I have two spare greenrooms in my draft pool so I dont know what was removed and what wasnt. I just found the message weird.
MAybe the repellant hasnt been tested enough?

I used it in the Utility Closet and it removed the regular Closet. Might be buggy.

Also this bug affects if the repellent was brought into the next day using the moon pendant.
