Clever tomb and reservoire hint (Sploiler)
I'm just gonna be gushing about a hint I encounterend, after I already got the thing the hint points to. Spoilered since what i want to talk about contains a lot of spoilers.

Due to luck of the draw, I basically never get the tomb, i was able to get to the foundation much more often, and I managed to drain the reservoire fairlly easily. Mucking around down in the reservoire, at the end of a run where I had 7 spare keys, I just went a bit wild opening chests and got lucky to find the sactum key.

Now about half a dozen runs later, I draw the tomb, and figure out the puzzle with the statues. And then, upon interacting with the statue of the angel if death, i realized something. The end of the cythe is pointing straight at the chest containing the sanctum key on the map in front of the statue.

That is such a nice little hint.

I got so lucky with those chests, found the key on my second one I randomly opened.

Noticed this myself a couple days ago. Definitely one of those really cool details that's hard to notice but well appreciated for those who do notice it!

I got lucky as well on my second guess, but I didn't even make the connection later.
There is a second copy of the underground map in pieces that mentions that the Angel of Death points to something which outright told me.
Straight hilarious all these "lucky" people, I'd bet money ya'll were glued to a guide the whole time.

It's definitely been hard to avoid spoilers when most of my feed is about this game now lol.

The only thing I've explicitly looked up the solution to was the Gallery puzzles because good lord those required some absolutely obtuse extrapolation.

Getting lucky on that wasn't really any benefit besides the direct one.I didn't WANT to find the right box on my second try. In fact, I had a whole logic matrix prepped after the first box I never got to use. The box in question just happened to be the one I was facing after I had finished my catalog of box image/color/water (my first box mentioned boxes in water). I may go back and do it the long way just to learn the puzzle.

You replying when not addressed is giving lies lol you followed a guide its obvious. "Didnt make the connection til later..." aka, you didnt need to make the connection you read about it before hand.

Me replying when I used "lucky" and you used "lucky" right after? You caught me. I play puzzle games just to read the guides and for some reason I stopped after that specific one which is why I haven't finished the game.

A sin I did commit was that I brute forced one safe after calculating half the combo using the wrong method but getting the right number. The combo didn't make sense until I found the clue that made the connection much later. I've been trying to atone for that by explaining (in other threads) that there are later clues that explain the connection if one is patient.

Their name checks out at least. Some people just can't fathom the idea that some people like to use their brains I guess. 🤷‍♂️

I get ya on the brute forcing. There's been a few sigils I had all but one piece of information for that I just brute forced or used inferred logic for.

I'm saying I DIDN'T think for that one, I didn't expect to find it on my second try. I was just expecting to find another card for what appeared to be a 23 part logic puzzle
I was just commenting that it was cool there was another hint to solve it if you hadn't done on of the other ways.

Luck/Brute Force with up to 23 keys over multiple days
Logic Puzzle
I feel the cinematic for crossing the lake is done on purpose to draw attention to the pillar
Probably more clues - considering how many backup clues I've found for other puzzles.
