Because there's been a couple I swore I was correct on, but opened and didn't find a prize...
White: The Blue box is false
Black: The White box is false
I think it would be in blue box?
White is true (Blue box is false)
Blue is false (Gems in true box)
Black is false (White box is true)
It should be in the white box. The only two T/F combinations that are valid are:
Blue True, White False, Black True
or
Blue False, White True, Black False
..in both these cases, white has to contain the gems.
Every other combination of True/False has a contradiction or isn't according to the rules.
Doesn't sound like cheating to me. Though I suppose it could be considered an exploit loophole to be closed by the dev if they did think so. Seems like you played it smart to do something mildly clever (which 2 gems is not a huge prize for but could help in a specific gem oriented run I suppose...I am still learning the strategies of this game myself.)
