Sprayed away my foundation 18 days ago, still havn't poped back up

Spray says it last 7 days but it still hasn't come back, i hoped it would just replace where it was but no, and i havn't seen it in my foorplans, did i ♥♥♥♥ up ?

No, it's just a very rare room to draft.

I saw mine pop back up a few days later but I chose to leave it off the floorplan while I work on getting the 20 dead ends to win the drafting guide contest

As Roan said, it will show up, but your deck is much larger now so it'll show up more rarely now. If you want it back, it's even more important you spent as other many room cards as you can, then use your preferred rerolling method. I'm quite sure you cant spawn it at the sides, and I recommend against putting it on the 8th rank.

Now to Roan, 20 Dead ends is actually easier with the foundation. If you have a keycard you wont need a connection between the upper half of your house and the lower half, because you can pop up from below. This frees up two more spots for dead rooms. You could argue it does eat a slot, but you need plenty of T and X connectors anyway.
Now it can be done without the foundation trick, but it's MUCH harder to do, as I learned to my detriment.

I've used the conservatory to make most of my 3 / 4 splits pretty common so it's usually pretty easy to set up my paths. I'm just falling a bit short each try due to not drawing enough dead ends. I've gotten 19 once and 18 twice :(

Getting 19 is rough that must have hurt! I only managed because I was lucky to have two secret passages in my deck and a boatload of reroll gems. And it was still the very last room that got me to 20.

Did you finish the music sheet puzzle yet? It makes setting up this challenge a lot more bearable.

Why so ? Mine was in B8 originally and i thought it was bad but i ended up really liking having to just get keycard or breaker/security to be able to get a backup far away in case i dead-end myself and having the antechamber so close was handy

got 10 more days in and still no sign of it but your advice helps i didn't know it couldn't spawn on the sides

EDIT : aaaand got it back to B8 using 8 stars to reroll ^^
fun fact i got the 110 plan achievement from it, althought i still miss a last one from the drafting studio, so the foundation counted twice

Glad we could help a little bit! There's some minor spoiler downsides, 8th rank slots become a little bit more valuable to farm late game lore. But I still think the value of having the foundation greatly out ways it. I still miss my C7, the sanctum lever walk is so much longer now.
