To keep this vague, is there information outside of the Gallery that helps with its contents or is it self-contained?

Self contained, it relies on english language a lot, can be super hard for non native speakers. I am doing a blind run pretty much, but after spending 1 min in that room, just switching between letters made me google the solution immediately, and did not regret it at all after.

If you do the same tho, I strongly advise to solve the followup on your own without help, that is a different kind of puzzle.

Worst room in the game, look it up, not worth trying to figure out that supid ♥♥♥♥.

There are a few puzzles which require knowledge outside of the game and even those are fine (so far what i've seen), but F this room tbh :D
