Wedding Doves?

I've been able to crack a lot of the codes and ciphers in this game but
The one in the Dovecote regarding 'getting the hint' about "wedding doves" has left me a little lost. Is this a Baron Baffler I'm just not getting?

I don't think there's anything further to discover in the game with this. But I'm adding spoilers in case you would like to puzzle some of it out for yourself.

- "Wedding Doves" in real life are usually actually homing pigeons.
- A dovecote is another name for a pigeon house.
- Homing pigeons will find their way back home, and this is convenient for sending letters.
- After a child moves out of their parent's house, their parents often ask that they call/write/visit more often.

So, I think it's nothing more than a parent hinting that their child write home more often.

I think it refers to doves being a symbol for love and also for weddings. So it's probably Herbert hinting at his opinion that Mary and Daniel should marry already. Maybe by sending two doves at once? Otherwise maybe a trinket with two doves although Occam's razor demands that it's probably just two real doves he sent.
