The puzzle becomes more complex every day, and the logic behind it becomes clearer every day.
Yeah, you're right, but it does follow logic - just not what you were expecting. f you keep exploring the house, you'll find notes that will explain how that particular game works. The first clue you might find is in the Guest Bedroom. There's a letter that says, ""...I always enjoy your mathematical puzzles and appreciated that I didn't need to know the rules of darts to play your variation." Sometimes you have to let the house reveal itself over time for it to make any sense.
Now I don't bother and just brute force it every time. I don't want to learn a new logic just for it to change again in a few days.
Nah, the rules are the rules. There is no contradiction. But, as i said, the later day rules reverse, skip, repeat, round, etc. are nonsense (to me).
To each their own if they enjoy those later puzzles tho.
