I have the basement key. Am I stuck?

Here's the state of my current run:

1. I got the Basement Key from the antechamber.

2. I can access the underground via the Tomb or the already opened Blue Flames entrance.

3. There doesn't appear to be anywhere to use the Basement Key.

4. My house is locked down - there are no unused entrances with which to draft new rooms, and I can't get to my Foundation.

Am I missing something in the Underground? I don't have a pump room to drain the reservoir or fountain. I've found the movable mine cart, but there doesn't seem to be a way to interact with the big gear puzzle (there are no controls on my side of the room.)

From what you've described, unfortunately you can't use basement key in this run, happened to me once as well. On the upside you only need to open the basement door once then it stays unlocked so hopefully you will get a nicer run soon :)
