But also, I tried the demo through Whisky/Steam, and if I recall correctly it played just fine. You may want to try that and see if it works for you. But native Mac support would be preferable, since my Whisky/Steam install is currently broken and I doubt I will buy any PC-only games with that unreliability.

Not trying to crush anyone's dreams here but it's very unlikely this game or many other games will come to Mac. Based on the March 2025 hardware survey Mac users only make up 1.58% of Steam users which makes the effort not really worth it for most developers. On top of this you have to deal with various annoying Apple related issues and acquire some sort of Apple hardware to even test the game. The Apple juice simply isn't worth the squeeze when that development time could be put in to fixing bugs, adding features, or any other dev related work.

As others noted you could try using Whisky, or sideload Linux then use Wine but that's a pretty big hassle. The current situation around developing and porting to Macs is really unfortunate.

There's surprisingly many games coming to mac lately. My issue is where Apple is mingling with publishers and releases them on AppStore only instead of Steam.

But this game would be great on macs, imho is the kind of games where you can dive into on the go.
I think there's a reasonable chance it'll be released through a cloud gaming service like Geforce Now. That way you can play it on a Mac

I'm trying to run it via Whisky. It does run fine (on a macbook air M1), but there is an issue which I can't solve. The game is rendering bigger than the actual display, so some bits of the UI are rendered off screen. So far I haven't been able to make it render at the exact resolution of my screen :/
i don't know why but i can install the game on mac, i just can't play it

It runs 100% w/ no issues using Crossover 25 on my m3 MBP.

First in line for a Mac version! Here’s hoping.

I had the same problem on Crossover. I was able to fix it by playing around with the display settings in Crossover (the last option in the control panel for the bottle). Changing the display resolution did not immediately fix the problem, but it allowed me to change the resolution in the in-game graphics setting to another one where there was no cutting-off. Don't know if Whisky has the same option, but it's something to try.

Sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy, isn't it? Mac users don't come to steam as much because the store doesn't sell things for them.

Same here, not sure what is going on. My comp says that there's a missing executable.
