Moving save file

I've been playing with my brother on his account and want to move the save to my account so we can continue separately. When I try to run the game after copying his %APPDATA&/LocalLow/Dogubomb folder to my machine it doesn't give me an option to load and only gives me the option to start a new game. This is true even if I let the game make my save file and replace it with my old one, and even if I only replace MtHollyBlueprint.es3

How can I use a save file from one machine/steam account for my machine/steam account?

I kind of did what you're trying to do. Because of reasons I won't go into here, I had to do a total delete of Blue Prince (including the Save Data). Before I did, I copied the save file (MtHollyBlueprint.es3) to my desktop. I deleted the game through Steam, and then manually deleted the remaining Blue Prince files in the folder you mentioned. I then reinstalled the game and put my copied save file in the appropriate folder. I don't remember if there was a new copy of the file I had to replace or not, but it did work for me. Our circumstances aren't quite the same as in I wasn't moving the file between different accounts, but everything else is similar. The only other difference I can see it that apparently you copied and replaced the entire save folder while I only copied the actual save file, so maybe try doing that?

Maybe not a very helpful response, but nobody else had responded yet, and I wanted to let you know that at least it CAN be done under some circumstances.
