I passed it on like Day 4 because I was just trying to finish my first run and the rewards didn't seem amazing. Day 57 I haven't seen it once since. (Yes I know the south requirement.) Around day 20 I started going for it hard and I haven't gotten it once after at least 20 days of 2-4 south draws. I even burn any redraws I have on it and still nothing.

Do you have access to either of the ways to make a chosen room colour more likely to show up? You could always combine those with a day the observatory gives you more dead-end rooms.

There is a room you can get that can change the rarity of a room but it is a bit RNG on which ones you can do.

are you aware it also needs to be in the west side of the mannor?

Also, make sure you empties a bit the pool of rooms that could be drafted in its place. Doing that with what suggests McGeorgeOfTheJungle, you're pretty much sure you get it in at most a few attempts. You can also add to all that prioritizing dead ends thanks to some Observatory bonus, but it shouldn't be needed at all.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the main "quirk" of this room. Not only is it in the west wing, but you can only access it through south-facing doors. This is in a tip from the Conservatory, and it's how it works.

You will never find this room if you draft the west wing upwards or sideways, regardless of how you manipulate the rarity or pool.

My suggestion is to get some dice, reach rank 8 while avoiding the west wing and rooms with "straight" door placements. Then, go to the west wing and start drafting downward. Also, try to exhaust common rooms before doing this if possible, since it is a rare room.

Another good way to reach this room: draft the music room to pick a prismatic key. Reach rank eight with some dice, then try to pick Boudoir in the west wing. Use the prismatic key on the south-facing Boudoir door.

Yeah, we didn't mention it because OP said they're already aware of it :P

Yeah I rolled it early in the conservatory but I passed up lowering the rarity because like I said at the time I thought dead ends were bad so I wanted it rare. And yeah I knew about the west thing too. I've even managed to position a south facing secret passage twice, once with 3 redraws, nothing. If I don't get it by the time I'm done with armory I'm going to switch to King and hope for the best but like, jesus this is frustrating.
