Very disappointing late game design...
Hello,

I was really excited about this game and thoroughly enjoyed it up until room 46 and the first 7 keys to the sanctuary.

Even though English isn't my first language and some puzzles are inaccessible to me without help (like the Art Gallery, for example), the ending is extremely disappointing, and I'm really close to giving up on this game altogether.

Once you know what you have to do, RNG ruins absolutely everything:

I've been trying to get all 8 Mechanarium doors for 2 days. I finally reached 7 mechanic rooms, and to secure the draw, the Mechanarium has been downgraded to "common," I had the Mirror Room, and I even had the 50 stars in the Observatory. I lost 50 stars, 3 dices, and 6 redraws from a classroom for absolutely nothing. The room was never offered to me, even though it was located right in the center of the map (and not a wing).

So now? Do I really want to keep playing this?

Really, really, really disappointing... You had gold in your hands.

The mirror room is your mistake, I think, it doubles the amount of cards that are NOT the Mechanarium. It makes things a lot worse.

The Electromagnet increases the chances of drawing mechanical rooms, it's a big help in this scenario.

You can also pull off what you're trying to pull off with less than 7 mechanical rooms...

It was a common room. FIFTY stars spent. 3 * 50 = more than 150 rooms pulled.

I agree that statistically, you probably should have gotten it, but the mirror room increased your pool of rooms to 200 or so.

I pulled off what you're trying to do multiple times with the electromagnet.

Just a tip, but you don't literally need all 8 Mechanarium doors to get the Sanctum key. You only need the Mechanarium to have all spots that aren't already blocked off by walls to have doors. So if for instance you put the Mechanarium in a dead end spot where three of the four walls are already blocked off and can't have doors then you only need to have 4 Gears in your house to fill all the remaining spots, not 7, and you'll get the key.
