SPOILER - Safe code not working

Hi, in the conference room I found a note with a four digit safe code next to another note eluding to the safe being in the office. However, when I found the office and the safe within, the code didn't seem to work, however I tried to enter it. Can't tell if this is a bug, or if it's not intended to be the code to that specific safe and the two notes in the conference room were unrelated. Or I entered the code wrong (the safe numbers didn't indicate anything when pressed etc.) The code didn't work after multiple tries of clearing and entering. Please just answer if this is intended or not, not the actual code to the safe, I don't want spoilers either. Thanks! :)

i had conference room and security right after it, so that didn't fool me long XD.
