Advanced counterflow cooler destroyes IBU as it cools passed wort

I have not tested the basic version of the counterflow cooler

Same happend to me. It seems like you wash the "mosto" at the same time you drop the temperature.

Yes, it works fine now. I've seen the chiller adding flavor instead back when the patch first dropped but this behavior have since stopped.
