No Citrus flavor note in Job "Sensational Citrus"

The job description says to use the recipe for american pale ale (extract) and both hops featured in the recipe contain citrus notes.
Yet the resulting beer has 0.0 citrus flavor notes. I thought I made a mistake but the second attempt had the exact same result as the first. All flavors are there - except citrus.
Is this a bug or what could have been my mistake?

There may be more than one recipe for an american pale ale so just double check you have one with citrus tones

I'm at the very start of the campaign, where you only have that one recipe. Besides that, like I said, both hops I used have different citrus notes in their description and I was very careful to use the right amount and the right duration for both of them.

hmmm we haven't had anyone else with that issue. Maybe save the game and load back in to see if that helps you

Already did that before I started the second attempt.
I'll skip that job for now and go to the next season and report back if it happens again :)

It worked for me - are you using the hops in the right quantity and each one at the right stage of the brewing process?

Same issue for me. After removing hops due to recipe, citrus flavor rapidly disappear from wort.
