Beat the Game - Feedback (and SPOILERS)

I really enjoyed this game. It is definitely short, and could be improved in some areas, but the core concept is good and I think could easily be expanded upon if that was something that interested you.

What stood out to me the most with Clean Slate is that the main game's mechanic doesn't just impact the main character. If you make decisions that lead to the other characters obtaining the serum, they use it and get the benefits. I haven't see a lot of this type of thing in other games in the same space and usually if other people are impacted they're on your team, they're not opposing you.

Some grievances:
- There is not a lot of art. I think your final product would have been greatly improved by increasing the quality of the art you do have. I think it is the weakest part of your game.
- There are only four puzzles and the game is otherwise a standard visual novel. The puzzles you have are good and make some sense but I was surprised when the game ended. I had definitely expected more of everything.
- I didn't find the main character to be particularly enjoyable. His actions after time looping were particularly frustrating. I think there isn't a ton you could do to improve this since it forces the outcomes you want, but I wanted to comment on it anyway.

I will say that I'm slowly working on my own video game, so I can absolutely understand the amount of work that it'd probably have required for you to get this across the finishing line as is. It is awesome you were able to complete this and I'm happy I got the chance to support you with a purchase. I hope you have more to come in the future!
