How do I get out of the room with the bull horns powerup?

It took me a while to figure out how to even use the powerup (would help if the hint showed that i need to press an arrow key AND shift), but now I can't figure out how to get out of the room. Tried jumping then dashing, dashing then jumping, nothing seems to work... Did I miss a powerup earlier in the game? I remember missing one that looked like it would let me fly because I couldn't jump high enough to reach it, was I supposed to get that one all the way back there somehow?

You have to jump up onto that platform to your left - just like you went up there to get the dash powerup.

Then, on that platform use the new dash and jump off of the platform so you can reach the platform to the right, the one you came in from, again.

Hmm, I thought I tried that already; I wasn't able to jump right at the start of a dash. I suppose I can try it again, maybe I got the timing wrong. Thanks!

I just checked with the video I recorded back then and confirm: Yes, it's a timing thing.

Simply stand at the left-most point of the platform above, face right, activate dash and at the edge of the platform jump and sheepy will leap over the entire open area.
