Game gets stuck at the end [SPOILER ALERT]

I've made it to (what I think is) the ending, where Sheepy gives up all his powers and the gigantic Stargate-looking portal lights up with Sheepy and Patches next to it, and the whole place starts falling apart. At this point the game gets stuck, meaning that nothing more happens.

I looked up the ending and it seems Sheepy is supposed to grab Patches and go through the portal. But for me they just stay frozen next to it and nothing happens. After leaving it for several minutes, twice, I realized that nothing will happen, it's stuck.

The game does not freeze at this point - just try different inputs.

For most people it was the d-pad on their gamepad (me included) not taking inputs at this point but the analog sticks or keyboard wasd/arrow keys did the trick. Try that and see if it works. Small heads-up: Sheepy is moving very slowly in this scene, so be patient when trying other inputs and don't expect sheepy to make leaps right away :)

I tried every button and stick on my controller at this point, nothing happened. This wasn't a case of Sheepy moving slowly. Sheepy wasn't moving at all for several minutes.

Don't worry, we are talking about the same experience. Also sat in front of my screen for like 10 minutes, waiting for anything to happen until I suspected that nothing is going to happen, then browsed steam forums and found threats saying d-pad isn't working, try analog stick or other movement input keys on kb.

If no key on kb or input option on your controller is making sheepy move, I don't know what else could be the solution other than trying a different controller maybe.

I also think the slow movement is due to the change of time, maybe the time gap is something.......i don't want a bug

same here. I played using gamepad but game wanted me to use keyboard. Devs just show buttons what you want me to press... is it so hard? Just because of that I dislike the game.

I had the same problem, i just disconnected my controler and use the keyboard ! you just need to moove to the right to grab patches before mooving to the portal. Sheepy is slow but you can easily see if he moove or no. Hope it help
